Yesterday it snowed the first real snow we've had all winter which isn't saying much because we got less then 2 inches. It has almost all melted today anyway since it is 40 degrees outside. But it had snowed over night and
Spark was shocked when he woke up the next morning and was headed outside to see that his backyard was almost all white. He was so shocked in fact that he stood inside at the door and just barked at the snow until I got him out the door. I think he was thinking 'What the heck happened to my yard? It wasn't like this when I saw it last. Its my job to destroy the yard nobody else is supposed to!' After he got used to it though he loved it and it was hard to make him come in again. I was going to take him sledding yesterday but he had destroyed his Gentle Leader so I didn't think it would be a good idea.
So today Spark got to sled for the first time; we have to perfect front yard for sledding because of the huge hill we're on. I wasn't sure what Spark would think because first of all because our front yard isn't fenced he had to have a leash and Gentle Leader on and secondly I don't know too many dogs that enjoy riding on sleds with people. He LOVED it and wanted to sled more but we were all wet and we wanted to go inside. So hopefully we will get snow at least once more this winter so he can sled again.
Here are some pictures of Spark and Bunson in the backyard investigating the snow:
And here are a few pictures of Hosta and Bunson in the snow last March:
Finally, can you tell which is Hosta and which is Spark? (Check back Friday and I'll have the answers for you.)

Does your pet like the snow?
Ha... that's funny. In those photos before I read the captions and things I was like WOW - Spark looks incredibly like my man Hosta!! Even more so than this weekend. HA! So, I guess that means I know! :)
